On the one hand, we are very pleased to announced that because of overwhelming response we have filled our SoCon08 venues; on the other hand, we are sorry some people will get shut out. If you have registered, watch for some mass mailings that will keep you updated in the last few days. Thanks to everyone for the tremendous interest.

Well, well, it seems like just yesterday, I posted our 200th registrant. We hit the 250 mark today when Kristin Parker of Elemental Interactive signed up. SoCon08 registrations will close tomorrow Friday, Feb. 1 2008. So this is the last chance to register.

You have two days left to register for our Saturday, Feb. 9 SoCon08 conference at Kennesaw State University. Registration closes on Friday, Feb. 1, 2008. So register now.
Last year we had about 100 people attend our Friday night SoCon07 dinnner . This year on Friday night we will have a full house at Maggiano’s at Cumberland Mall, which holds 160.
Since it is filled, we closed registration for the dinner. However, there is still room for Saturday’s events. Right now we have 230 people registered for Saturday. We will close the registration for that this Friday, Feb. 1, 2008. We need the week to stuff packets, make name tags and order food. So register now.

Just got off the phone with the folks at Maggiano’s at the Cumberland Mall. They have an extra room for us on Friday night, Feb 8, 2008. So we don’t have to shut down that part of the registration today. But we might have to raise the cost tomorrow. So, here is an insider’s tip — Register Now.

Hi All:
We are now at 170 registrants for Friday and Saturday night, Feb. 8-9, 2008. Of them 120 are coming Friday night. We have filled our previously booked rooms at Maggiano’s at the Cumberland Mall. I am negotiating with Maggiano’s for more space. If we work out a deal, we’ll go up to 150 for Friday night, albeit probably at a higher cost. If we can’t work out a deal, I will have to close down the Friday night registration today. Since we can hold up to 300 on Saturday, there is less urgency there. But will close down all registration on February 4. This will be an exciting event. Lots of energy.

Just opened my email for today and noticed that we have exactly 150 paid registrants for the Feb. 8-9 SoCon08 conference. That seems like an appropriate milestone to blog about. Next big milestone would be 200. Register now.

We just got to 133 people registered. We have six more spaces at the reduced subsidized price for Friday night at Maggiano’s at the Cumberland Mall, then we are kicking it up to $48. So are you one of the lucky six?
